Checks your team completes on their phones

You decide what staff need to submit for each check — a tick, a note, a temperature, a photo. Your team completes their daily checks on their own phones. You see the whole thing from wherever you are.

What it does

Daily checks

What your team sees

Staff open Telvo on their own phones and get what is due at their station today — nothing else. No shared tablet by the fryer, no laminated sheet, no app to buy.

  • Their station’s list, not the whole shop’s
  • A photo item opens the camera — there is no gallery to upload from
  • A written note or a temperature reading where you ask for one
  • They sign in with an email or a PIN, on whatever phone they have
A cook’s Today screen on a phone: the items due at their station, two or three already ticked off, and an item that needs a photo still showing its camera button.
What staff see. Camera only — no gallery upload.

What you see

You build the list and decide what staff need to submit for each check. Then you get the day back — done, late, missed, the readings and the photographs — without being in the building.

  • The time recorded is when the server received it, not what the phone’s clock said
  • The same photo can’t be sent twice in your account
  • Every completion records who did it, when, and whether it was late
  • A missed item is logged at its due time and never drops off the record
  • Readings outside the range you set are marked
  • Your day, station by station, from wherever you are

Photos are kept for twelve months, then deleted. They’re held under your shop’s account only. Your staff’s records are yours — what that means.

The app showing a day of checklist items: the completed ones each carry the name of the person who did them and the time the server recorded it, and the items that need a photo are still outstanding.
Who did it and the server time — photo items wait for the camera.

Before you ask

Questions about daily checks

Do I have to buy phones for my staff?

No. It runs in the browser on whatever phone they already have, and they sign in with an email or a PIN. There is nothing to install and no shared tablet to keep charged, wiped down and out of the fryer.

Who is responsible for my staff’s records?

You are — they are your staff and your records, and I hold them on your instructions. That also means telling your team the checks are recorded is your job rather than mine, and it is worth doing properly: a photograph of a fridge with a name and a time against it is a record about a person. What is held, and for how long, is set out in the privacy notice.
